7 on 7 FOOTBALL TEAM
Let’s put together a 7v7 football team: There are four positions, QB/Safety RB/LB WR/CB C/DT. Use any player in the NFL or NCAA histories. Let me know your roster selections in the comment section – here’s mine.
QB: Mike Vick
Vick is a controversial character, but no one could pass on Vick in his prime. Vick, whether at VT, Atlanta, or Philly, was dominant in the air and on the ground. Vick also had experience at DB in high school and in college, which makes him a true weapon.
RB: Derrick Henry
Henry may not have the athletic talent of Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson, but Henry is still a largely-talented freight train of a running back. He can outrun, outmuscle, and outmaneuver any defender in the NFL.
WRs: Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Mike Evans
Moss is one of the most highly recognized receivers of all time, you can see I went for size over speed on this list. Johnson, aka Megatron, is an athletic freak who could also play safety. Evans, the only current receiver, can also play CB.
C: Larry Allen
Allen was one of the most athletic o-line players of all time. Allen could bench 750 pounds and run a 4.5 forty-yard dash. Allen was so large that the Cowboys had him tested everyday for steroids. Allen once outran RB Emmitt Smith on a running play.

QB: Vick. 7 on 7 is faster and an athletic QB is a must.
RB: Bo Jackson. He was unstoppable. Go to youtube and watch some videos. or go play Tecmo Bowl. He would wreck people as a linebacker.
Wide Receivers/Saftey: Randy Moss, Charles Woodson, and Deion Sanders. (Note that I value defense over offense. and that I believe the defensive players are more likely to be successful wideouts than a WR would be a defender.
TE: Antonio Gates. In his prime he was unstoppable. and he played basketball.
DT: Bob Golic – Great NFL career and he was on Saved By the Bell – The College Years. He’s a double threat.
I agree with the Vick and Jackson picks, It’s just Henry is a former linebacker as well and was a 4 star recruit based off only his linebacking talent. Sanders would dominate at any skill position on this list.
