NFL Week 9 Top 5 Teams

THE WHISTLEBLOWER’S PICKS

5. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are a solid team with a good offense, but there is a glaring reason why they are not seeded higher. Simply put, the Boys have not faced a great team as of yet. If they want to move up, they need to get a big win.

4. Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens endured a tough loss to the Bengals in Week 7 followed by a bye in Week 8; however, they remain one of the best teams right now. Baltimore can easily turn things around in Week 9 and do it in a big way.

3. Buffalo Bills

Buffalo is coming off a win against the Dolphins. They looked good, but not great. Good play will not win division championships. I am a believer, but Josh Allen and company need to play more convincingly for me to place them in the Top 2.

2. Los Angeles Rams

LA put a beating on the Texans last week and as an unexpected bonus, their elite D just improved. The Rams traded for Von Miller, who still has some gas left in the tank. The LA Rams now have a top-five defense AND offense, but they are still not number one.

1. Green Bay Packers

The Packers put up a huge win over the undefeated Cardinals in Week 8. But then the wheels fall off the cheese wagon. Green Bay will be without Aaron Rodgers due to COVID 19. However, Jordan Love will start against the Chiefs and faces a weak Kansas City defense. Love’s first NFL start could very well be his first victory.
