NFL Predictions: 1/3 Edition

AND THE AWARD GOES TO…

MVP: Justin Herbert

Yes, I know the Cardinals are undefeated and Kyler is playing at a high level, but can it last? Recall the last two years when Arizona fizzled in the second half of the season. Meanwhile, Herby looks like the second coming of Peyton Manning out there with an explosive offense. The Chargers are legit, and Herbert even more so.

OPOTY: Derrick Henry

King Henry has not slowed down yet and we know enough to expect nothing less. Henry is on pace for 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns, which would merit MVP in my opinion, but in our QB-focused league, he’ll have to settle for OPOTY.

DPOTY: Myles Garrett

Aaron Donald has been somewhat quiet this season, so Myles Garrett’s time has finally come. Garrett is leading the league in sacks and QB pressures. The Browns are coming for the AFC and Garrett is coming for your QBs.

OROTY: Jamarr Chase

I was skeptical about Chase before the season started, but he has proven me wrong. Chase leads all rookie receivers in yards and touchdowns. No rookie player has even come close to his success, if he can stay healthy, he’ll go far.

DROTY: Micah Parsons

Parsons looks like the best rookie defender by far and he is also the most versatile. Parsons has lined up on the edge, outside linebacker, middle linebacker, and even safety. Parson, as a rookie, leads the Cowboys in tackles and tackles for loss. Can he continue this level of play?
