AN ACCURATE AND REALISTIC PREDICTION
1. Jacksonville – Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
Jacksonville gets their franchise QB, end of story.
2. New York Jets – Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
I have said before that I consider Wilson a mid-tier QB, but the Jets must be heavily interested in him to trade their QB Sam Darnold.
3. San Francisco – Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
The Niners traded all the way up from number 12 to get Jones, who may be the most NFL ready QB in the class.
4. Atlanta – Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
Pitts may be the best athlete in this class, with 6’6 height and 4’4 speed, and the Falcons believe he’s too good to pass up on here at 4.
5. Cincinnati – Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
Cincy gets the best tackle in the class to protect Joe Burrow.
6. Miami – DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
Miami gets the necessary weapons for Tua with Will Fuller and now Smith, a familiar name from Bama.
7. Detroit – Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
Detroit may go QB here, but I see them going with Goff for a year and Chase is a talented receiver.
8. Carolina – Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama
It’s high for a corner, but Surtain is highly talented and will pair nicely with Donte Jackson.
9. Denver – Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
Denver finally gets a quarterback that can turn things around out west.
10. Dallas – Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
Horn is a speedy, agile corner that replaces Byron Jones and has some NFL heritage.
11. New York Giants – Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
Parsons will solidify the linebacker spot in NY.
12. Philadelphia – Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
Eagles get a tackle to protect Jalen Hurts.
13. LA Chargers – Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
Chargers fill the void at Left Tackle with Darrisaw, a hulk of a man.
14. Minnesota – Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan
Minnesota pairs Paye with Danille Hunter, a dangerous duo at EDGE.
15. New England – Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
New England finally hits on a receiver pick, and Waddle won’t let them down.
16. Arizona – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
Arizona grabs the versatile linebacker to pair with Jordan Hicks and Isaiah Simmons.
17. Las Vegas – Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Vegas grabs the rusher from Georgia, in which they hope he can fix their defensive woes.
18. Miami – Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
Miami grabs another Bama player, the wrecking ball, Najee Harris.
19. Washington – Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
Lance’s fall ends here, with Washington, who can sit him behind Fitzpatrick to learn.
20. Chicago – Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
Their failure to land a QB has left them to pick the speedy Bateman.
21. Indianapolis – Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
Indy grabs the talented, but injury-prone Farley.
22. Tennessee – Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Titans pick up an edge rusher to change the balance of power in the South.
23. New York Jets – Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
Jets pick up Etienne, a great rusher and receiver out of the backfield.
24. Pittsburgh – Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
Pittsburgh upgrades in the trenches with Barmore.
25. Jacksonville – Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State
Jacksonville get protection for Lawrence at 25.
26. Cleveland – Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Cleveland goes EDGE here, despite having Myles Garrett.
27. Baltimore – Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
Baltimore has a pretty good secondary, with a hole at safety, Moehrig will fill that hole.
28. New Orleans – Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC
Tucker’s fall stops here, with the Saints getting protection for whoever starts at QB next year.
29. Green Bay – Elijah Moore, WR, Mississippi
Green Bay will consider a LB here, but Moore will be an excellent weapon for Aaron Rodgers.
30. Buffalo – Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
Bills get a linebacker to pair with Matt Milano.
31. Kansas City – Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
Chiefs get a slot corner to lock down on opposing receivers.
32. Tampa Bay – Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M
OK, hear me out, Tom Brady will not be able to play forever and Mond is an underrated talent. He could do with a few years behind Brady, but Mond can develop into a top 10 QB.
