NFL AWARDS PICKS: Final Edition

MVP: Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers solidified his MVP case with an incredible December performance: 19 TDs to 0 INTs. The Packers are undefeated at home and have clinched the 1st seed in the NFC for the second straight season.

OPOTY: Johnathon Taylor

Taylor revolutionized the Colts this season. 28 has notched up 2,000 scrimmage yards while scoring 20+ TDs. The Colts surged from a 1-4 record to a playoff position. Taylor was the MVP frontrunner for most of the season until Aaron Rodgers had his big month. Expect Taylor to be a great player for the years to come.

DPOTY: Myles Garrett

As good as Parsons is, Garrett is better. Garrett has more sacks (16.5), and more TFLs and QB hits and pressures than Parsons. Furthermore, Garrett has been one of the few bright spots on a struggling Browns team this season. TJ Watt and Chris Jones should be more highly considered than Parsons.

OROTY: Jamarr Chase

Mac Jones held this spot for a few weeks, but Chase made a statement in Week 17. Chase dropped 266 yards and three touchdowns on the Chiefs. In one move, Chase dropped three KC defenders on his first TD, then mossed L’Jarius Sneed for his second TD. His third was a slant on the goal line to give the Bengals the lead. Chase could be a force in the playoffs for the Bengals.

DROTY: Micah Parsons

Parsons has been insane this season, racking up 13.5 sacks, and has the most TFLs of a rookie. He has also played at middle linebacker and outside linebacker as well as a defensive end. The Cowboys need Parsons to show up big to get Dallas moving in the playoffs.
