2022 Mock Draft 3.0

1. Jacksonville Jaguars, Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

Protection for T-Law in Year 2.

2. Detroit Lions, Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan

Pencil this one in as a lock.

3. Houston Texans, Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

Imagine a combination of Ed Reed and Honey Badger

4. New York Jets, Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon

The Jets need to improve their defense, Von should be an instant impact starter.

5. New York Giants, Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The Giants could get more picks with a Saquon Barkley trade on the horizon. Address the defense and move on.

6. Carolina Panthers, Matt Corral, QB, Mississippi

Corral fits the Panthers’ system better than Pickett or Willis. I have a strong feeling he would start Day 1 as well.

7. New York Giants, Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Danny Jones is in Year 4. Find out who he is. Get him some weapons and put him to the test.

8. Atlanta Falcons, Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

Willis won’t replace Matt Ryan immediately, but 2023 could be his time to shine.

9. Denver Broncos, Kenyon Green, OG, Texas A&M

Denver is looking for a superstar QB, However, if they can’t land one, a stud guard is a good fallback plan.

10. New York Jets, Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Get Zach Wilson some receiving help in Year 2.

11. Washington Commanders, Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

Pickett fits the Washington system and has huge potential; should start Week 1.

12. Minnesota Vikings, Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

Lockdown corner, plug and play, enough said.

13. Cleveland Browns, Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State

Cleveland is in a similar situation as the Broncos, I believe they make the same choice.

14. Baltimore Ravens, Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

Get Lamar a weapon, and a speedy one at that.

15. Philadelphia Eagles, Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati

Philly gets a stud corner to pair with Darius Slay.

16. Philadelphia Eagles, Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

Get Jalen Hurts some necessary protection, Cross should start immediately.

17. Los Angeles Chargers, David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

Ojabo should pair nicely with Joey Bosa on the outside.

18. New Orleans Saints, Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa

With Pickett and Willis off the board, the Saints receive some O-Line help.

19. Philadelphia Eagles, Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Philly picks up another defensive stud.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers, Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina

Howell had a good combine, I see this as a steal for Pittsburgh.

21. New England Patriots, DeMarvin Leal, DT, Texas A&M

This feels like a Bill Belichick pick. Leal and Barmore will block every running lane.

22. Las Vegas Raiders, Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State

Crosby needs a running mate on the outside.

23. Arizona Cardinals, Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

Budda Baker should be ready for the 2022 season, but they lack a free safety.

24. Dallas Cowboys, Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

A shutdown corner on the outside opposite Diggs is the Cowboy’s dream.

25. Buffalo Bills, Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia

A big body in the middle should help the Bills D.

26. Tennesse Titans, Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

Dean should replace Jayon Brown in the mike spot.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

Tampa will need to protect their 2022 QB, no matter who it is.

28. Green Bay Packers, Drake London, WR, USC

Green Bay will need a WR2 now that Davante Adams appears to be returning.

29. Miami Dolphins, Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma

Winfrey had a big Senior Bowl and should be a good find late in the first round.

30. Kansas City, Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State

Tyrann Mathieu could be leaving; Brisker will be an instant replacement.

31. Cincinnati Bengals, Zion Johnson, OG, Boston College

Protect Burrow at all costs.

32. Detroit Lions, George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

Two edge rushers may seem like overkill, but Detriot needs them badly.
