2022 Mock Draft 2.0

1. Jacksonville Jaguars, Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

Protect T-Law at all costs, don’t even consider not picking outside of an offensive lineman here.

2. Detroit Lions, Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan

I can’t stop mocking Hutch here, it’s just the perfect fit.

3. Houston Texans, Kenyon Green, OG, Texas A&M

The Texans will probably stick with Davis Mills, so why not help him out with some protection.

4. New York Jets, Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

Hamilton is what the Jets had in Jamal Adams but with better coverage skills.

5. New York Giants, Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon

The Giants get an elite pass rusher to pair with Leonard Williams.

6. Carolina Panthers, Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

Stingley is a can’t-miss prospect similar to last year’s Pat Surtain II.

7. New York Giants, Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Giants are sticking with Danny Jones, for the time being, Wilson should help him in his fourth season.

8. Atlanta Falcons, Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati

“Sauce” Gardner should be an instant star alongside AJ Terrell.

9. Denver Broncos, George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

Denver gets their Von Miller replacement.

10. New York Jets, Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The Jets need O-Line and DBs. Booth is a quick and agile corner who will help the Jets on Day 1.

11. Washington Commanders, Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

Willis had a great Senior Bowl and has the tools to be an elite NFL QB. His flaws are his reckless play and rawness.

12. Minnesota, Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

Minnesota could go QB here to replace Kirk Cousins, but I believe that O-LIne is the better option.

13. Cleveland Browns, Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

The Browns released OBJ midseason, and Jarvis Landry is a free agent. Therefore, they are missing some explosion at receiver.

14. Baltimore Ravens, Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Olave had an underachieving season at Ohio State, but he has the talent and potential that the Ravens lack at receiver.

15. Philadelphia Eagles, DeMarvin Leal, DT, Texas A&M

Philly needs to get younger on defense, and Leal is a blue-chip talent with a high floor.

16. Philadelphia Eagles, David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

Philly gets a speedy pass rusher with their second first-rounder.

17. Los Angeles Chargers, Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa

The Chargers have to protect Herbie at all costs.

18. New Orleans Saints, Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia

Davis was the anchor of the 2021 Georgia championship team. He can do the same for the Saints’ young D-Line.

19. Philadelphia Eagles, Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State

Philly addresses their O-Line need with their final first-rounder.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers, Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss

Corrall had a minor ankle injury in the Rebels bowl game, but that won’t stop the Steelers from passing on him.

21. New England Patriots, Drake London, WR, USC

The Patriots hit on Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor in free agency, but they still lack a good third option.

22. Las Vegas Raiders, Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

The Raiders had Denzel Perryman, who had a Pro Bowl season in 2021, but he’s in his 30s and they need younger talent in their defense.

23. Arizona Cardinals, Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

Hill would go well alongside Budda Baker and Jalen Thompson in the Arizona secondary.

24. Dallas Cowboys, Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

Dallas is short on talent alongside Trevon Diggs in the secondary. Elam is just as explosive as Diggs and has more coverage skills.

25. Buffalo Bills, Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State

Johnson would bolster an aging Bills pass rush.

26. Tennesse Titans, Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

The Titans require a sideline-to-sideline speedy linebacker who can help their defense.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina

Tom Brady is retired (maybe), the Bucs are looking for a replacement. Howell will compete with Kyle Trask for the starting job.

28. Green Bay Packers, Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Burks should complement (or replace) Davante Adams for Green Bay.

29. Miami Dolphins, Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma

The Dolphins draft a Senior Bowl standout to bolster their defense.

30. Kansas City Chiefs, Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

The Chiefs need to strengthen their O-Line alongside Creed Humphery.

31. Cincinnati Bengals, Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State

The Bengals get a defensive stud who can play corner and safety.

32. Detroit Lions, Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

Pickett should sit behind Goff for a season, or until he needs to prove himself.
