2022 Mock Draft 1.0

1. Jacksonville Jaguars, Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan

Hutchinson is such a good rusher that he was a Heisman candidate. Easy pick for the Jags.

2. Detroit Lions, Kayvon Thibodeau, EDGE, Oregon

Lions could be in the market for a trade down here, but Thibodeaux is a potential franchise player for the Lions.

3. Houston Texans, Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

Neal will instantly provide protection for Davis Mills or another QB.

4. New York Jets, Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

The Jets find their Jamal Adams replacement, and he could be even better.

5. New York Giants, Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Booth Jr. will be a great complement to James Bradberry and X McKinney in the secondary.

6. New York Jets, DeMarvin Leal, DT, Texas A&M

Jets get a great interior defender who can stay on the field, unlike Quineen Williams

7. Carolina Panthers, Kenyon Green, OG, Texas A&M

Carolina needs a QB, but unless they really like a QB here, they will opt for some O-Line protection.

8. New York Giants, George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

The Giants select a solid rusher to complement Leonard Williams.

9. Washington Football Team, Matt Corral, QB, Mississippi

Matt Corral is a combination of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, but he doesn’t have the full abilities of both. He doesn’t possess the accuracy of Allen or the speed of Jackson, but he looks like a future superstar with a big arm and dual-threat capabilities. He reminds me of a young Marcus Mariota.

10. Atlanta Falcons, Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Imagine a receiving core of Olave, Russ Gage, Calvin Ridley, and Kyle Pitts. Terrifying for defenses.

11. Denver Broncos, Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

Pat Surtain has exceeded expectations in his rookie year, but he needs a partner in the secondary. Elam has the tools to do see.

12. Minnesota Vikings, Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

The Vikes have to have defensive help, but they also need tackle, Cross is an elite high-floor instant starter.

13. New Orleans Saints, Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

The Saints’ biggest lack is either receiver or QB, barring a trade or free-agent signing. Pickett is the most pro-ready in my opinion, he reminds me of Justin Herbert and has the physical traits of a strong arm QB.

14. Cleveland Browns, Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU

The Browns’ Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams are both solid starters, but Stingley Jr. is such a great talent that the Browns can’t pass here.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers, Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

Malik Willis could either be the next Mike Vick or the next Andre Ware. Willis has the elite arm strength and dual-threat capabilities of a future star but will need time to develop.

16. San Diego Chargers, Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa

The Bolts’ Corey Linsley is getting up in age. Linderbaum would be a great replacement.

17. Las Vegas Raiders, Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

The Raiders find their Henry Ruggs replacement in Wilson, who is a big-time receiver and shows up in big moments.

18. Baltimore Ravens, Daxton Hill, S, Michigan

The Ravens need secondary help so badly it’s not funny. Hill is a rangy hybrid safety who can stop the run and pass.

19. Philadelphia Eagles, Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia

Philly tried to trade Fletcher Cox at the deadline and he’s not getting younger. Davis is the perfect replacement or partner.

20. Philadelphia Eagles, Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Eagles go defense on back-to-back picks. Lloyd can be the perfect starter beside TJ Edwards.

21. Dolphins, Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State

The Fins need to protect Tua at all costs. Ekwonu can be that man.

22. New England Patriots, David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

The Pats love Michigan pass rushers, Ojabo will be an instant starter opposite Matt Judon.

23. Philadelphia Eagles, Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati

Eagles finish their picks with Gardner, another starter-caliber defender for the Eagles.

24. Arizona Cardinals, Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

The Cards can get their eventual Chandler Jones replacement with Dean.

25. Buffalo Bills, Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

Imagine a Bills offense with another dynamic receiver.

26. Cincinatti Bengals, Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State

Cincy needs to get help on D, and Trey Hendrickson would appreciate another rusher.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Drake London, WR, USC

In this scenario, the Bucs move on from Chris Godwin and pick London.

28. Detroit Lions, Sam Howell, QB, North Carolina

The Lions need the QB of the future, and Howell, even after a down year in college, can dominate given time.

29. Tennessee Titans, Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Julio Jones is washed and AJ Brown is injury-prone; Burks can either replace or complement both.

30. Dallas Cowboys, Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina

The Boys can move Gregory to the inside and have Enagbare and Parsons on the outside in this scenario.

31. Kansas City Chiefs, Myjai Sanders, EDGE, Cincinnati

The Chiefs need rush from the outside to help Chris Jones in the inside.

32. Green Bay Packers, Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

Green Bay will protect Aaron Rodgers, or Jordan Love, with this pick.
