THE WHISTLEBLOWER’S BOLD PICKS
Nets vs Bucks – Nets 4, Bucks 3
Clash of the TITANS in the East – Giannis and the surging Bucks, fresh off a Round 1 sweep of the Heat, go against the Nets super team. The Nets beat the Celtics in the first round, but this may be a closer series than they hope. Still holding out hope in spite of last night’s blowout.
76ers vs Hawks – Sixers 4, Hawks 2
The Hawks had a stunning five game performance against the Knicks. Trae Young rained down 3’s on the best defensive team in the East. Meanwhile, Julius Randle put up some dismal stats, going 45-104 from the field. On the other hand, RJ Barrett had a good series as did Derrick Rose. The Sixers beat the Wizards in five games, but Joel Embiid was injured in Game 4. Word is he may be ready for Game 1, and with the Sixers’s great core, I believe this will be the Sixers series.
Nuggets vs Suns – Suns 4, Nuggets 2
Both the Nuggets and Suns are coming off long series against the Lakers and the Blazers, respectively. The Suns made history defeating LeBron in the first round – a past unachievable feat. The Suns have the morale advantage in this series after beating the better team, and with few injuries, the Suns may make a run in this playoff.
Jazz vs Clippers – Clippers 4, Jazz 3
The Clippers came back from 2-0 against the Mavericks to win their playoff series. Kawhi Leonard turned into Playoff Kawhi and put the team on his back. Paul George improved in Games 6 and 7; however, the Jazz are a very good defensive team and they will need to play better offense.
